Weather and weekend

At last the snow is thawing, here in the Blackdown hills there are enormous drifts and its taking ages to go away. The weather forecast is looking grim and I feel my hibernation will have to continue. Mind you I have caught up on lots of mundane tasks and slowly the pile of 'to do's' is diminishing, at least the ones that can be carried out horizontal.

I have been unable to get to London to work for some time and was hoping to this week, however the raging storm predicted, means I need to be at home keeping an eye on things.

The electric overblanket is ready and waiting should I need to settle down with a book, my daughter keeps telling me to make the most of the rest, but if I do not get moving soon, I can see I never will - shame!!!

  1. Hi Dolly
Like you, I am certainly catching up with all those little jobs! My sewing basket has hardly got anything in it now.
Photos are in albums & summer stock ready on the rails. Roll on the Spring!
